Demonstrate an understanding of GTRF products, market trends and key competitors
Demonstrate strong organization / project management & planning skills, clearly communicating team requirements and coordinating / delivering timely actions.
Research / synthesize internal and external information and financial models and formulate recommendations in written business cases / presentations.
Work with the Services, Risk, HR and Finance teams to capture the end to end aspect of the strategy execution.
Demonstrate a clear added value on the projects covered.
Provide full support to GTRF management on key Strategic papers/reviews
Demonstrate and communicate a clear understanding of the regional economic and industry dynamics as well as HSBC’s top Strategic Initiatives
Ensuring that Group GTRF BM counterparts are adequately and timely updated with status on key strategic projects within MENAT
Keep Regional Stakeholders fully aware of progress / actions / governance on key strategic transactions/initiatives
Proactively network both in HBME and Group
Ability to work with and appropriately challenge businesses/stakeholders
Establish a strong governance model in areas of responsibility
Acting as a strong interface between GTRF, , CMB/GB and Functions
Engaging with key MENAT stakeholders to drive execution
Adhere and ensure adherence (as part of BRCM coordinator responsibility) of GTRF team to GTRF internal controls and standard manuals
Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets
A University degree with 7+ years of relevant banking experience (e.g. GTRF Business Management / Strategy & Planning) and 5+ in Financial Services Strategy Consulting from a top consulting firm.
Strong planning skills and a high degree of interpersonal skills are of paramount importance in successful delivery of the role
The role requires a macro level understanding of the business, with attention to micro level factors to provide value adding challenges to GTRF Heads to steer them towards developing and delivering on the strategic direction of HSBC, in line with local considerations
Ability to work under pressure (multiple tasks / strict deadlines) without forfeiting accuracy and quality of end deliverables
Strategic thinker with the capability to align risk management with the achievement of business objectives
Strong analytical background with strong preference for MBA from a top business school
Ability to analyse multiple sources of information and write business papers and reports for senior managers and Board is key.
